Transmission & Distribution Consulting
Product & Service Offerings
System Planning
New lines, line additions, line improvements, line relocations, line
removals, substations, and substation additions all require extensive planning and budgeting. We can provide
a complete service or supplement your work force.
System Analysis
Using the latest software, we can assist you with
contingency analysis, reliability studies, and other planning studies.
Business Process Improvement
The identification of issues that obstruct the utility or business unit from
meeting its goals is the first step in gaining and maintaining a competitive
business advantage. Since 1993 Yanco Associates has performed this work at major
T&D utilities.
Design
We can support your staff or take on entire projects. From hardware to plan
and profile drawings to structure designs, Yanco Associates can help you
complete your projects.
Project Management
With experience on some of the largest T&D projects in the world (lines and
substations), we can support you on a single project or establish a Project
Management Office to support several projects at the same time.
Construction Management
Yanco Associates can provide the field assets to support a simple line
relocation or a major transmission expansion program.
Asset Management
Utilities are quickly finding that transmission assets in the deregulated
environment are a challenge to operate effectively and efficiently, but also an
opportunity to improve earnings. We provide knowledge and experience starting
with asset strategic planning and including the complete asset life cycle
management.
Information Technologies
From analysis software to line design software to SCADA/EMS systems, we can
assist you in planning, product selection, and system implementation. We
understand the combined requirements of transmission operations for
asset-centric and operations-centric support systems operating in unison to
provide a total operations and maintenance solution
